After spending a number of years struggling with body image issues, I decided that enough was enough. I was tired of living a life where my self worth was defined by a number on a scale. My unhealthy relationship with food had left me weak and unhappy. In the end, what I really wound up losing was myself, and jeopardizing the relationships that I valued most.
I decided that I wasn’t going to let my fears paralyze me any longer. It was during this time that my passion for fitness began. I shifted my focus from moving my weight on the scale, to moving the weights at the gym. I was determined to become strong and healthy, and I developed a new positive relationship with food. It was through fitness that I was able to find myself again and regain control of my life.
My vision is to empower people to achieve their fitness goals, by helping them to conquer their fears and change their negative attitudes about body image, health and nutrition. I firmly believe that with HARD work, dedication, and the right mindset, the sky’s the limit. I will help you get there. I’m a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer who specializes in strength training, small group training, and body recomposition (fat loss/ muscle gain.)

Learn how to lift so that you can gain muscle and strength, and lose body fat in the process. Develop confidence and work towards meeting your health and fitness goals. Develop healthy habits that are maintainable! We will be out on the gym floor using both free weights and machines. All abilities are welcome. It doesn’t matter whether you’re new to lifting and the gym scene, or you just want to be challenged, motivated and held accountable! Class size is limited to 4-6 people and sessions run for eight weeks.
